Today is Lucy’s first day of daycare. I’ll have to see how she did when I pick her up after work. Lucy will only be going to daycare 2 days a week for now.

Alex was happy to be back at daycare. He’s in daycare full time.

Today was a gorgeous day, we drove out to Pescadero State Beach with Tim. On the way there we stopped at Alameda Army Navy Surplus to buy a entrenching tool so that we could dig a big hole on the beach. I t was the best beach toy I’ve every bought. I had a blast digging a big hole and everyone had fun playing in it.
We went to Duarte’s Tavern and Restaurant for lunch, they have excellent food here. Julie normally gets the half and half, cream of artichoke and cream of green chile soup, but she was worried about the green chile being too spicy so she got the “famous” cream of artichoke soup all by itself. She said the half and half is better, but she’s still glad she didn’t get the green chile. I got a French dip, it was great.
If you haven’t heard by now, Julie is pregnant! We went to the 20 week ultrasound this morning where we could have found out the sex, but we chose not to. Julies due date is April 17th. Since everyone thinks they know what sex our baby is going to be, I setup a poll so you can tell us!

Our brand new LG TROMM SteamWasher (clothes washer) and dryer arrived today. We decided to replace our old washer and dryer (we’re assuming it’s from when the condo was built, 18 years ago). Of course we had to have the best, and that’s what we got. Thanks to everyone who gave us money for Christmas to help buy our new washer and dryer.

The latest news is we are in the process of buying a condo. We went to the open house on Sunday and loved the place for the price. It is a little bit larger than what we are renting now and there is a one car detached garage. Two bedrooms, two baths, second floor, balcony, washer/dryer in the unit, new paint and new carpet. We made an offer, they made a counter-offer, and then we countered the counter… It is all very confusing to me. The place will close September 28th if all goes well. Here it is the real and actual license. I just got it in mail today. It is official!
The results are in and I passed.
