We took Alex and Lucy to to 21st Annual Bay Area KidFest in Concord. Alex rode the train with Grandpa and he played the carnival games. He went on the big slide with Mommy and Daddy and he rode the Frog Hopper all by himself. He also went on the big ferris wheel with Mommy and Daddy. Grandpa walked with him on the pony ride. Then he got on stage with The Hipwaders and played with some simple percussion instruments. Wow we did a lot! It was tons of fun!
Today we went to Pease Ranch and picked some cherries. It was a lot of fun and the cherries are great too!
I was just checking the LIVE! with Regis and Kelly Beautiful Baby Search site, to see if Alex’s picture was there. I was thinking that it might not show up, but there it was, on page 83 of the A section. When I first checked the other Alex’s were on page 60.
Ten semi-finalists will be chosen from all qualifying entries. Potential semi-finalists will be notified by telephone during the week of February 22, 2010. I’ll let you know if we hear anything. The ten semi-finalists pictures will appear on LIVE and on LIVE’s website on or about the week of March 1, 2010. Viewers will have the chance to vote on-line for five of the ten semi-finalists.
My mom has been bugging me to submit Alex’s picture to the LIVE! with Regis and Kelly Beautiful Baby Search, so tonight I submitted the following picture:
I don’t really know how this thing works but it said something about a voting period starting on March 1st… I think. I’ll let you know when I have more info about the voting.
Today we ran the 5K at the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon and 5K Fun Run. It was through Golden Gate Park, and out to Ocean Beach. Alex went along for the ride, he was awesome. It was a beautiful day, we had a lot of fun.
Last weekend rented a cabin in Twain Harte with two other families who have children that are the same age as Alex. We took a day trip to Dodge Ridge and went snowboarding. It was so much fun!
On Sunday, November 30th, we ran in the Run Wild For A Child 5K race in Golden Gate Park. It was a lot of fun. Alex went along for the ride and he was very good.
