Happy New Year! Time to get organized. We’re starting to convert our office into our kids room. I’ve removed the old shelves and rod from the closet, spackled and painted. We’ve added some Elfa ventilated shelving. Now rather than the closet being a huge storage mess, it’s 60% kids closet and 40% organized storge. While we were buying the Elfa stuff for our closet we also got some Elfa solid shelving for the living room that we’ve been looking at for quite some time, we love it!

I was sitting here reading my email when Julie started yelling at me from the bedroom, “Come here! Quick, quick, quick!” She had her stethoscope on and had the chestpiece pressed against her belly. She told me to watch it and after a few seconds I saw it move up. Then I put my hand where she had been pressing the chestpiece, and I felt the baby move!

If you haven’t heard by now, Julie is pregnant! We went to the 20 week ultrasound this morning where we could have found out the sex, but we chose not to. Julies due date is April 17th. Since everyone thinks they know what sex our baby is going to be, I setup a poll so you can tell us!

My dad and Joanne are going on vacation for 3 months! They’re going up to Canada and and then across the country to New York and back. I made my Dad post his pictures on Flickr so that everyone could see them. He’s got a lot of stops planned along the way and I can’t wait to see all the pictures from the wonderful places he stops at.
